New Year, New Happenings

It is a new year, and Cody and Company is starting out with a bang.

Our designs are now being featured on three other dog retail websites: Posh Puppy Boutique, Doggie Couture, and Bitch New York. I really enjoy the three women that run these shops and they carry many luxury items. It is an honor to be included in their stores. Please be sure to check them out - there are some great clearance sales going on right now!

We are also working on some exciting new clothing designs for this year, expanding upon our already full list of offerings. Look for fleece jackets, bathrobes, and more coming your way!

We are working with a wonderful woman, Amy, from Pink Clover Designs on Etsy. She already created our new mailing label, featured above. She is now working on expanding that design for me to be used as a new banner for my Etsy shop. She is so talented and creates beautiful address labels and stickers that are so much fun. Be sure to check out her shop and see what she can create for you!

 

I love what I do. I love that I get to work with so many wonderful people and to meet so many others who love their special little furkids. I am grateful for the support that Shawn and my family give to me. They pitch in and help with housework and cooking when I am swamped with big orders.

 

I am very blessed.

Halloween Costumes

Do you dress up your dogs for Halloween? Do you have a Halloween party for your dogs and their little furry friends?

We never have, but I must admit that it sounds kind of fun. Maybe we will get invited to a doggy Halloween party this year!

I don't believe I have ever seen so much variety offered in dog costumes as there are available this year. Check out The Doggie Couture Shop for some great ideas! They were the wonderful people who provided us with all the great party stuff for Shimmer's birthday party and they have over 200 costumes to choose from!

Here are a couple of my favorites:

Isn't this Dogula Costume the greatest? The dog even looks like he has perfect fangs!

If I had a little boy, this Prince Charming costume would be a must. The puppy model is way to adorable! Kind of makes you want to get a little puppy just to dress him up this cute, huh??

You can even dress your dog up as a Kitty Kat! That's pretty funny. My dad would have like the irony of this costume!

Shimmer's Birthday Pawty

It was party day for Shimmer today. Normally shy and a bit reserved, she really seemed to revel in the attention and even went around and greeted everyone and let them pet her.

The day was a warm one, that's for sure, but it was still pretty pleasant on our covered patio, out of the hot sun. There was a fun little pool for the dogs to cool off in.

Our wonderful friends at Doggie Couture Shop had provided all the great decorations, plates, cups and other party essentials!

The food table was loaded with goodies, for both the four-footed guests and the two-footed variety!

This end of the table was for the people guests!

While this end had the doggie goodies, treat bags and cake!

Everyone came in their party finery and were ready to go!

The girls decided to share the fun of their Aikiou toy with their friends and let them try their paws at getting the treats out of the puzzle doors. This makes for an awesome party game, fun for both the dogs and their owners!

Then it was time to sing Happy Birthday to Shimmer and share in that yummy cake!

 

After everyone was full from that, it was time for Shimmer to open all her gifts, with a little help from Mom!

It was a great party. We thank everyone who came and enjoyed the fun, and we especially send a BIG thank you to the Doggie Couture Shop for sending all the party supplies. You definitely need to check out their party section and plan a birthday bash for your little one!

 

Everyone went home happy!
