The girls have had a cousin staying with us this week. Okay, it's a stretch to call her a cousin. She belongs to the daughter of Shawn's cousin. I have never been good with all this genealogy stuff, so I think that makes her their cousin a couple times removed.
Anyway, Nala is a 10 month old Yorkie. Full of energy. Sassy as all tomorrow. Sassiest thing I have ever met. She totally bombards the girls, with no let up in sight. They try to be nice to her, but I can tell when they are getting to the end of their rope. That is when I put little Miss Nala in some quiet time, in the kitchen, with the dog gates up. The look of gratitude on the girls' faces is pretty comical.
She really is a cute little bugger.
She can be quite entertaining as she plays a lot more than my girls do. It is fun to watch her attack the toys and roll all over the floor. Nobody wants to join in with her, though.
Well, I take that back. Bonnie would love to play with her and constantly brings Nala some of her favorite toys. Nala is great at acting all tough and ready to take Bonnie on when she's on the other side of the barrier. Not so brave when we take it down and let Bonnie in.

It has given us some thoughts about bringing a puppy into the fold, that's for sure!
