Aloha Treats!!

Our mail carrier loves to comment on how many packages we send out to Luna Blue, in Honolulu Hawaii. Yesterday he made a special point of bringing the mail to our front door to let us know that we had a package from THEM!!

It didn't take long for those Chihuahua noses to figure out that there were TREATS in the package. Very Yummy treats.

There were three bags, each special handmade yummy flavors from Hawaii. There is BBQ Grill Mix, which is Beef, Chicken and Bit O' Bacon. There is the Luna Blue Mix, with Passion Fruit, Papaya, and Cranberry (there are some of the humans around here that want to sample those too!). These are each just the perfect size for the girls and Cooper to scarf down in a snap.

The final bag has larger bone shaped Taro chicken treats. They are like a whole meal, so they will have to be split up and shared.

Insert Breezy here, saying, "Say what?!?!"

Stormie and Shimmer were quick to don the latest Luna Blue designs that we are working on and pose for a picture with their gifts.

Don't you just love the smile on Shimmer's face..???

You should check out the new Luna Blue shop on Etsy! You can now purchase some of the designs that we have been working on -- without having to travel to Hawaii to get them.

Not that that would be a bad thing.

Check it out here. Besides our girls modeling, you can see cute little Noah, spokesdog for Luna Blue.

Someday I am taking Shawn the Wonder Guy and going to Hawaii to meet them all in person!

Goodies and Treats From Muddy Puppys

My girls love the mailman, I have mentioned this before. They will bark when the doorbell rings, but when we open the door and they see that it is the mailman, they start getting excited.

Two reasons. First, he always has a treat in his hand to feed them. The way to their little pitter pattering hearts is through their stomachs. The other reason is that they have learned that if the mailman is at the door, it is because he has a package that is too large to fit into the mailbox.

Translation in dog terms: SCORE!!!! We have a delivery of something to be tried and reviewed.

Yesterday was one of those days. The girls were happy to see the mailman, but even after he dropped off the package and left, they were soooo excited about the box. They were dancing and spinning until I thought they would fall over. I couldn't get the box open fast enough for them.

Their little noses obviously picked up the smell of the delightful yummies that we received from Muddy Puppys.

If you have not yet ordered any of these treats, you need to do so right away. They are beautiful works of art that look too fabulous to feed to your dog. They come packaged and presented so exquisitely. While all of this is lost on the little whirling, hyper tornadoes at my feet that are about ready to pass out from excitement, it is not lost on me.

I make them wait to sample the goods until I have taken a picture to show everyone how gorgeous it all is.

Stormie is now on her back on the floor, kicking her feet in a tantrum to rival the most determined toddler you have ever known.
These treats are all natural and organic, besides being beautiful.

Also with the treats was a soft, luscious blanket from Proper Puppy Boutique. These blankets are awesome. They just get softer and softer as they are washed.

While not as popular with the girls at the moment as the treats, they love the blankets also.

Head on over to Muddy Puppys and Proper Puppy Boutique. They have great prices on amazing products.

Tell them the girls of Cody and Company sent you.

And yes, I did finally take pity on them and open a box and share the treats.

Peace and happiness once more reigns at our house.

Is that the mailman we hear pulling up....????

Yummy treats from Leo and Company

We received a package of yummy dog treats from Leo & Company the other day. Oh my goodness, were the girls ever excited!

Leo & Company is a fellow seller on Etsy. As I love to support the others who sell on Etsy, I was extremely excited to see that they were also located here locally.

Leo & Company makes organic dog biscuits from only the very best organic, human grade ingredients and are completely wheat-free. They make the biscuits to order and dehydrate to crunchy perfection.

We received the Peanut Butter and Apple biscuits, which are made from apples picked from their own trees, and peanuts that are locally ground, with no additives or salt.

We also received the Lamb and Rice Biscuits. The lamb in these biscuits comes from Abundant Life Farm, here in Oregon. The Pasture reared lamb is slowly cooked with produce from the farmers market to make very delectable treats that the dogs love.

Both varieties came in small, heart shaped biscuits that will surely please even the most discerning dog. Our pups loved them and get super excited when I shake the box.

The biscuits come packaged very professionally in cute paw print boxes of 1/2 pound each. Shelf life is four weeks, but I certainly doubt they will last that long around here!

The girls have already requested that we try the Cream Cheese or Parmesan Cheese biscuits next! They also feature little training bite-sized treats in BBQ flavor, as well as liver flavored.
