New Sign for the Garden
I apologize for the irregular postings lately. I am pretty swamped at the moment with a huge custom order of 300 Aloha shirts and dresses for a customer in Hawaii. I think it's kind of funny when I am working away and the TV keeps running advertisements for the new remake of the Hawaii Five-O series this fall. It's almost like mood music.

But, I did want to show you my really cool new sign I got for the yard. It says 'Chihuahua Crossing' and it actually has a Long-haired Chihuahua on it. It is not always easy to find items with the Long-haired variety. I haven't decided just yet exactly where in the yard it is going to go. I am observing the girls closely to see which flower bed they travel through the most, so that it can be a very appropriate statement. We will mount it on a stake and place it in the ground. I am thinking I kind of want it down low, to match them.
These signs come in pretty much every breed, as well as many other animals (such as dolphins....who has a dolphin crossing..???) and are available here. They are only $8.99, plus $1.99 shipping, so they are a great deal!
Well, I am hearing more Hawaiian music playing in my head, so I guess it is time to get back to work!

Beach Trip, Part 2
I wouldn't want you all to think that we drove two hours to the coast the other day, just to sit in chairs and look at the ocean.

Happy to be back, safe in the chair with Breezy.
Okay, that's about all I really did, but it was soooooo relaxing and nice to just sit and not do anything else.
However, we did have Hannah with us, and she decided to introduce Stormie to the ocean.
This was a safe distance and Stormie seemed to be pretty interested.
Now the waves are getting closer, and she looks as if she is saying to Shawn, "Um, could you quit with the camera thing and come rescue me..??"
After this wave, I'm not sure what she said to Hannah, but she managed to make it quite clear that she wanted to come back to sit with me.

Happy to be back, safe in the chair with Breezy.
