Idea For a New Reality Show

I have come up with a new idea for a reality TV show. You know how the TLC channel has all these shows about families with multiplies? Think sextuplets, quads, etc. You know, Jon and Kate Plus Eight? Quints By Surprise?
I told my patient, long suffering Shawn the other day that we need to get TWO more dogs, then we could do a show called the Chihuahua Quints! Cameras would follow us around every day showing what it is like to live with and take care of 5 little Chihuahuas.

There would be feeding time. To make this more interesting, we might have to get five of these fabulous little doggie highchairs donated to us, right?

An added bonus would be the scenes of sewing and modeling. Shawn thinks this could get a little tedious to watch as it is just hours of me sewing and the girls sleeping in their beds. Okay, we would have to jazz that one up a bit.

We could show all the adventures the girls take: to the beach, visiting retirement centers, going trick-or-treating, doggie events, meeting up with other dogs. Fun and excitement every week!!!
While we aren’t the show-stopper that a stroller with 5 children in it seems to be, boy do we ever get the attention when we go anywhere with our doggie stroller. That would make for good entertainment, right?

There would be bathing, grooming, exercising, and of course, the ever adventurous Potty Time! We recently got new coats for the girls to wear to make it not so ‘traumatic’ to go outside in the rain. I also just got winter boots for them as we are having heavy snow predictions for our area this winter. Can’t you just see me putting on five little coats and TWENTY little boots?!?!? It will take an hour to get them all out the door!

Top that one Jon and Kate!!!

Yeah, I don’t know that the whole concept would be exciting enough. For starters, my dogs don’t scream and cry a lot and that seems to be a requirement for these shows. They do bark, though!
I just figured that the network execs are always trying to come up with new ideas, and who doesn’t like dogs? We all know we watch these shows, always thanking the good Lord that it isn’t us. I think perhaps there would be a good market for it, right?

Shawn just sat with that tolerant smile on his face, then said "As long as the show doesn’t become ‘19 Chihuahuas and Counting’.

Oh don’t worry dear, that’s another show: Animal Hoarding. No chance of me wanting to be featured on THAT one!
