Now We Have Shimmer and Breezy, Too!

Perhaps you remember me talking about the beautiful ornament we received from the Magic Sleigh, that looked just like Stormie:

I was so pleased with this little cutie, that I worked with the owner and designer of the shop, Pamela, to design two more that look like Shimmer and Breezy.

Working from pictures off my blog, Pamela was able to create these one-of-a-kind custom ornaments for me:

Here is sweet Shimmer.

And spunky little Breezy.

Pamela has many different breeds of dogs, cats, angels, and even dragons available in her Magic Sleigh shop on Etsy. She will also work with pictures to create custom ornaments. She can do different poses, too. The process does take a little bit of time, so if you are interested in ordering any as a gift for Christmas, I would be getting in contact with her right away.

I am gathering quite the collection of Chihuahua ornaments. I am getting pretty excited to put them all on my special tree in my studio this year!

Christmas Ornaments...Yipee!

I received two more Chihuahua Christmas ornaments yesterday to add to my collection. I can hardly wait until it is time to decorate my little Chihuahua tree!

I found this little Hallmark Keepsake ornament on eBay. It is from 2006, but in perfect, unopened condition in the collector's box and everything. The detail if superb.

The other ornament is from Laurelwood Enterprises. They make the most beautiful plates in almost every breed. Just this year, they started offering their designs in little ornaments also. Each year is a new design, so I guess I know what I will be ordering each year, huh?

I have some more cute ornaments coming. I will share when they arrive!

New Chihuahua Ornament

We received an adorable new Chihuahua Christmas ornament the other day. It looks like Stormie, all tangled up in Christmas lights.

This came from a fantastic artist on Etsy, named Pamela Fleming. Her shop, The Magic Sleigh, features individually hand sculptured porcelain clay ornaments. She has them available in many different breeds. Pamela will also do custom ones, made to look specifically like your dog. I am going to order ones for Shimmer and Breezy, too!

Another thing that I am really impressed with from The Magic Sleigh, is that she is donating 10% of all sales to Best Friends Animal Society this year. I absolutely love that place and the work that they do. I love their show, Dogtown, on the National Geographic channel, also.

Pamela's sculptures are individual works of art that can be treasured forever. I love my little Stormie ornament and look forward to getting ones of Breezy and Shimmer to complete the collection.
